Let's stop and make one thing absolutely clear... Eve was created to serve God above Adam - to worship, obey, and look to Him above all else. Her existence was to be oriented around God, not man. The point is that her service to God was to involve working with Adam, and insofar as she related with Adam, her role was created to be a supportive rather than leading (or competing) one.
